De jaren zestig. Hippies en flowerpower, vrije seks en psychedelica. Protesten en vrijheid. Sadine werd door Jan Godschalk en Ton Kooreman in 1967-68 voor de Haagse Post gemaakt. Het verzet van de jeugd tegen de gevestigde orde in deze strip loopt vooruit op de heftige Parijse studentenprotesten in mei 1968. Elke stripplaat is uitgebreid voorzien van beeld en tekst. Deze illustreren de enerverende periode van een halve eeuw geleden en tonen de raakvlakken met nu. Een uitgebreid dossier vertelt over het ontstaan van deze strip in de jaren zestig. Een bijzondere uitgave voor liefhebbers van kunst, cultuur en Pop Art-strips – en het eerder uitgebrachte Iris! Deze uitgave kwam tot stand met ondersteuning van het Nederlands Letterenfonds.
